David's Background

David Williams, Jr. is a 1994 graduate of Wake Forest-Rolesville High School and holds a Bachelors degree in Geography with a concentration in City and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He received his North Carolina General Contractor’s license in May of 1998. David received his training from respected local contractors and tradesmen. Beginning at age 16, he worked as a general laborer with Gould Construction, and at age 18, he began working summers for Mitchell Heating & Cooling as an installation technician. David worked one summer for Act Electric as an electrician’s helper, and as an assistant superintendent for Millridge Investments. He also served as Wake Forest Fire Chief from 2004 thru 2006. David also partners in Triangle Waste Service, Inc., 11 Investments, LLC, W & W Properties, LLC, Heritage Professional Partners II, LLC, and Willfair, Inc. Each of these experiences have helped David create and manage a successful construction company.

David Williams, Jr. grew up in Wake Forest, attended school and later married and started Williams Custom Building, Inc. in Wake Forest, NC. David, his wife, Rachael, and their two kids live in Youngsville and manage the company together. David takes pride in his hometown and enjoys playing a part in the growth and development of Wake Forest through Williams Custom Building, Inc. David also believes it is important to choose subcontractors with local ties and interests when ever possible, therefore many of the subcontractors used by Williams Custom Building, Inc. are locally owned & operated.
